Holy Travel....

So, for those of you who are interested in where the heck I'll be this summer it will basically be on an airplane most likely going back and forth to Michigan!!! 2009 has been a crazy year and it only gets crazier into the summer. You know what though? I LOVE IT!!! I love seeing my family and I love getting Addison into new environments so I'm not complaining at all...well maybe a little bit about all the plane tickets we had to buy! ;o) Sooo, here we go...

JUNE 25 - 29:
Off to Michigan to celebrate my niece Arielle's graduation. I still can't believe that she is a High School graduate. We are so proud of her and wouldn't miss celebrating this accomplishment for anything.

JULY 23 - 27:
Back to Michigan - This is the weekend of Natalee and Chad's wedding showers. Saturday we will be in Toledo doing the grooms side of the family shower and then Sunday we will be having the brides side of the family shower. We've made huge plans and preparations for the bridal side shower so I can't wait to see it all come together. I think Natalee and Chad are going to have a blast and most of all get LOTS of gifts.

AUGUST 21 - 24:
Chicago here we come!!! This is the weekend we will be celebrating Natalee's Bachelorette party in Chicago. I can't wait because we have lots of fun and surprises up our sleeves to make sure this is the best party ever!

AUGUST 26 - 30:
Back to Michigan - We are planning a beautiful baby shower for my sister April and her husband Jason for the arrival of Riley (my new niece). April's c-section is planned for October 1st so this will give her plenty of time to get the items she doesn't receive from the shower. Plans are still in the works but this will most likely take place on August 28th.

OCTOBER 7 - 12:
This will consist of celebrating the beautiful marriage between Chad and Natalee. Something all of us couldn't wait to happen so it will be the most exciting trip! Also, my niece Riley should be here by then so we will be spending lots of time spoiling and kissing all over her.

NOVEMBER (THANKSGIVING TIME):

No travelling for us but my mom and step-dad plan to spend Thanksgiving with us, this is also still in the works but its going to be ALOT of fun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and Natalee and Chad will come too!

There you go. As you can see I don't have plans in September so if anybody wants to come visit I'd be more than happy to have you. ;o) I can't wait for the next couple of months and honestly I hope I don't get bored in 2010 because I think this year is going to top the most I've ever had to travel. ;o)

Its Official!!!!

Arielle took the walk yesterday, she has officially graduated from High School!!! This is very exciting news yet of course makes me feel terribly old. I still can't believe my 1st born niece is already going to college in the fall (where, is still undecided). I'm so proud of her and can't believe I have to go through this again with Cameron in 2 years! Once again, holy crap I'm getting old!!! I wish I could of been there to see how excited everybody was but I was thinking about her the whole day. ;o(

Dinner With The Eidson Family

(not the best picture but here we are)

It was a very exciting evening of catching up with my Aunt Michele and Uncle Dennis last night. My cousin Garrett moved to Orlando a little over a year ago so they've been coming back and forth quite a bit, but this was the first time that we all had time to meet in the middle and grab some dinner. My Aunt Michele looked amazing as always. Every time I see her I see my Mimi (Grandma Julie who passed away) and I'm just in ahh, she is just so beautiful and I love her energy. My Uncle Dennis looked fabulous as well, I swear the two of them get younger and younger every time I get to see them. My Aunt Michele use to be a fitness trainer at Curves but now stays home with her dog in Grand Rapids and is constantly keeping busy. My Uncle is actually the Director, President and Chief Executive Officer for Spartan Stores which is Headquartered out of Grand Rapids. He is a very busy man as you can imagine so when we get together I always wonder what it will be like, will he be on the phone constantly putting out fires, will he want to talk business or will he be the same old Uncle Dennis that I remember since I was a kid. Well, as much as I wanted to get the juicy details about what his job entails we had a great dinner just catching up on us as a family. I barely ate anything because we continued talking about everything. I miss them terribly and I love that they got to spend some time with Addison, not many people besides my immediate family has had much time with her so its nice when we get a couple of hours with certain people who don't get to see her very regularly. It was the cutest thing when we were walking out her and Uncle Dennis were walking side by side and she was looking up at him talking in her Addi language. I wish I would of got a picture but I have a beautiful memory. Family means everything to me and I can't wait to see them again, hopefully very soon!

We Will Miss You Jamie!!

Well, one of my most favorite babysitters will be leaving us to take a nanny job in London. We found her through sittercity.com. I probably should of known then that we had a world traveller on our hands because she was in South Africa studying abroad when I first tried to interview her. When she got back she gave me a call and its been great ever since. The most amazing thing about this whole situation...she's from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Who would of thought I would find the best babysitter ever and she's from my home state. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, us Michiganders are pretty awesome!!! Well, Jamie graduated from Eckard College last week and she's moving on to be a nanny in London. Not any kind of nanny but I believe its for a director of a movie that is shooting in London. The kids are 9 and 11 and it sounds like its going to be an experience of a life time!! She's seriously the greatest and while I found a great babysitter I also found a wonderful friend. Anyway, Jamie was kind enough to meet up with us for lunch on Saturday so we could wish her the best and make sure she knew how much we cared about her. Lunch was fun and the best part was surprising her with some fun gifts and learning all about what London entails. Jamie, we will miss you but I know we will keep in touch and will get to see you again!!!
